A 35-year old patient, Auwal Muhammad has been arrested for raping a 16-month old baby on his sick bed. Muhammad, was said to be on admission at the orthopedic department of Usman Danfodiyo Teaching Hospital, Sokoto following a motor accident in which he sustained fracture on one of his leg. DailyTrust learnt that Muhammed had been nursing his leg at home before he was brought to the hospital by unnamed NGO for proper treatment.
