spider-man-captain-americ.jpg The new Spider-Man film is called Spider-Man: Homecoming - and it might just feature Vulture... Minutes after we upload this story comes the confirmation of the title of the new Spider-Man film. It's officially called Spider-Man: Homecoming. Here's the proof... . @TomHolland1996 reveals the title and logo of #SpiderMan : Homecoming during #SonyAtCinemaCon pic.twitter.com/ syuGSJm0KH — Spider-Man (@SpiderManMovie) 13 April 2016 VULTURE RUMOUR With Tom Holland making his Spider-Man debut in the incoming Captain America: Civil War , thoughts will soon turn to his standalone webslinger outing, which is due in cinemas in 2017. We know that Jon Watts is directing the new movie, and that Marisa Tomei has joined the cast as Aunt May. Now, though, comes the first rumour regarding which character will be the villain of the piece. And it sounds like it’s going to be Vulture. Vulture would have been included had Sam Raimi pressed ahead with his infamously abandoned Spider-Man 4, with John Malkovich cast in the role at that time. Maybe, though, Vulture’s time has finally come. Vulture is the alter-ego of Adrian Toomes, an electronics engineer whose flight harness gives him firstly the ability to fly, and secondly extra strength. There’s no clue yet as to who Marvel and Sony are eyeing for the role. But then Vulture hasn’t yet been confirmed for the film, and this is just at the rumour stage right now. We’ll pass on further info as we get it…
